Cecilia Serrano peacefully passed in her sleep on Friday, November 17, 2023. Her soul will continue living on through her adoring family and friends.

Cecilia was known as Cie, Nanay, and Ninang to many. She was a caring and loveable woman. Who throughout her lifetime, devoted herself to her religion and the people around her.

Cecilia was born in the Philippines in 1948, to her loving mother and father Pedro and Josefa, and her two older brothers Tony and Jojoy. She had her daughter Mary Jane in 1987 and devoted her life to making sure she had the opportunity for a better life here in Canada. Her grandchildren Jayden and Lucas were her pride and joy.

Cecilia was an intelligent and motivated woman. She was determined and very independent. She looked at the brighter things in life and was always grateful to God. She remained a faithful Christian for her entire life. We know that God is pleased to have one of his kind and loving angels back in his arms, where she belongs. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family. Until we meet again. Rest in peace, Mom.
