Obituary of Beverley Winnifred Edwards

Beverley Winnifred Edwards, of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

Bev was born in Montreal and graduated from Montreal West High School in 1952. She was an exceptional cook and baker who loved traveling, camping, and crocheting - many blankets were made over the years. She enjoyed swimming and playing badminton in her younger years. Her favorite vacation spot was Hawaii, but she and her husband George also enjoyed travelling to Arizona for the winter months in their motorhome.

Bev was the beloved wife of George Edwards for 67 years, and mother to Gordon (Cindy) Edwards and Jill (Peter) Raneri. She was also the proud grandmother of Justin Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Nicole Raneri, and Alex Raneri.

Bev was predeceased by her son Glenn, her mother Jesse Bowles (Nee Reynolds), her father Alexander Bowles, and her brother Walter Bowles.
