Condolences
My deepest sympathies to "Mrs Annand's" family and friends. She was my first teacher, in Grade One at Waterton Lakes and will always be Mrs Annand to me. She was the first teacher everyone should be so fortunate to have in their life. She fostered learning, a love of reading, respect for one another, and believed that our potential was limitless. The lovely photo of her on her horse, captures the serenity and kindness I remember so well. She and my Mom corresponded across the years and the country, and she will always be very fondly remembered by the Lunney girls. May your many memories of this amazing woman bring you comfort.
My deepest condolences. Mrs. Annand, as I knew her, was my teacher at Waterton Park School. It was a one room school with multiple grades in one room. I went on to a University degree in Veterinary Medicine but she was the best teacher I ever had. Kind, supportive, and stimulated an interest in the world in her students. I give her full credit for starting me off in such a positive manner in my academic career. My sister, also her student, and I were talking about her a week ago.
Maureen E. Lunney B.Sc., D.V.M.
