Memorial Service
Condolences
Dear Bob, Ed, Morey and families:
I recently received an unexpected phone call from our friend Barb Jones. Though I hadn't seen her in years, I certainly remembered her - as Barb was a big reminder of the fun we used to all have in Calgary. Your Dad and Mom were a pair of THE most wonderful and fun people. They had a big impact on my life. Our trips to the ski resorts in BC will always stand out in my fun-time memories.
I just heard from Barb, the very sad news of your losses. I was SO saddened to hear about your Mom and Dad. Even in my recent mind, your parents were still the most energetic, kind, and generous people that I loved to be around in my school days. They and your family were such a positive influence on my life. I will always treasure those trips.
I am so sorry for your double loss. As soul mates for 73 years, your Mom and Dad must have wanted to remain together to continue to share their lives and souls with each for their new future and the path ahead. With wonderful memories still in my mind, I must also send my heartbroken thoughts and condolences to you all, and your families.
Please take care, continue to stay safe and try to enjoy life as I'm sure your Mom and Dad would want you to.
Hugs to you all.... Sue Seaborn
Dear Katie and family:
We were unable to travel from Canmore but watched the service for Jim on livestream. I was very happy when Jim would drop in to my office, as he often did. Lois and I are in a seniors residence in Canmore and wanted to attend the service but could not. Watching the service livestream, memories flooded back and I was glad that Jim and I had shared great times in our youth and later in business. I always enjoyed Jim's visits and talking about our days together at STS.

Jim was a wonderful man and would often remind me that it was he who brought me home from the hospital following my birth. My father was working for Jim at the time and was not able to drive due to an injury and Jim stepped up to bring me and my mother home safely. Jim was a mentor to my father and a wonderful friend to all of us. I wish I could be with everyone today, but I am able to attend the live stream and remember Jim fondly. My sincere condolences to the family,
Sincerely,
Stephen Tronnes
Sorry for your loss. Jim was a nice guy (not that I would have to tell you all. The first time I met Jim was in 1970, and our paths crossed many times during the intervening years. The last time I spoke to him was at our friend Daryl Tronnes’ funeral. We had a nice chat!
I am sad to learn of the loss of your fun loving, very talented father, grand father, and great grandfather Jim. I knew the Clark's for over 60 years as we moved to lower Elboya in 1964 where our house was just up the alleyway from the Clark's majestic home on the Elbow River by Stanley Park. I remember taking video of all of his paintings to help him catalogue them when I was an adult and joined them to play piano and sing at a lovely Christmas dinner party, at their newer residence in Britania later in life. I know he is in a beautiful place in heaven now as he and Katy were and still are firm believers in the Lord. Rest in Peace kind sir. Elizabeth Keefe
