Condolences
Dear Bonnie, Tyler, Sheena, Greg, Caley, MacKenna, Finley, James and Callum:
We are at a loss to adequately express our sorrow at losing Jim. From becoming friends in high school, through college, following your adventures as you travelled across the country for Jim’s work, to the last twenty plus years of close friendship when you moved to Airdrie, we have laughed and cried with what life has given us. Nothing prepared us for this.
Jim’s quick, dry sense of humour, his total commitment to family, and his endless generosity and loyalty will be what we remember him most for. Our love and thoughts are with you always.
Take comfort in his legacy, which will live on in the family that he cherished so much
Love Bob and Marilyn Brunet
Dearest Bonnie, Tyler, Sheena, Greg and grandbabies. There are just no words for your loss. Jim was all of those amazing words that was written in his memory. To lighten up the sadness I could sure go on and on about funny memories that come to mind. Bonnie, we have shared this one and want to give others a chuckle. While Jim was at the college and we attended the St Lawrence House, Bonnie you and I were treating ourselves to a few .10 cent drafts and went to Jim's apartment across from where we drank and OMG you and I sat together on Jim's rocking chair. Well, we broke it and the rest is history and the chair didn't belong to Jim. Will end by saying I am thinking of you all with love and hugs.
To say we were shocked by the news of Him’s passing is an understatement. Our hearts are broken for Bonnie, Sheena and Tyler and their families. Our paths crossed in Moncton New Brunswick and we have never lost touch. We met for lunch on Vancouver Island about 18 months ago and we both said how well you both looked; no change really. I guess we just never know when everything will change. How proud a family man he was and we sincerely hope your memories sustain you in time.
Bonnie, Sheena, Tyler and all Jim’s beloved grandchildren can find comfort remembering the good times. We wish you well from Cornwall, Doug and Bernice Patterson.
Bonnie and Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Throughout all the years that I had worked with Jim, the one thing he always talked about the most was his family. He loved his grandchildren very much and would always light up every time he would speak of them. He always had pictures of them to show me. It's been strange not having him around the auction these past few years. He will be missed. RIP in peace Jim.
Jim was a true professional in everyone's business dealings with him, everything was black or white and Jim always ensured everyone's business was respected in the same manner.I cant count how many times after an auction in Calgary ,Vancouver or Saskatoon Jim and I would sit and chat about kids, travel and our lives and maybe have a beer or two.I remember one time in Saskatoon our flight was cancelled and Jim was determined to get home ,he grabbed a van from the lot there threw me the keys and said lets go ..of course he grabbed the only van in the world with no cruise control..we laughed about that for hours as we drove through the prairies that night .I could write a book about great stories and situations but the one thing that always shone through was his love of his family .I'm deeply saddened to hear of his passing and send my deepest sympathies to you all ...RIP my friend Happy Trails
My deepest sympathies to you all.
I have many good memories of Uncle Jim that will bring a smile and chuckle.
Bless you all in this difficult time ♥️♥️
Bonnie, Sheena, Tyler, and all the youngsters

A good person and a great friend. I looked upon Jim and Bonnie as the perfect couple - always together and never apart.
Jim became a most serious rodeo and chuckwagon fan as well as a knowledgeable baseball and lacrosse follower, but he will
be most missed by his family and the grandchildren that were his pride and joy. Rest in peace, Jim.
