Jackie's smiling and welcoming way will be greatly missed by Maria and I. One of my favorite memories was sitting next to Jackie at the 2018 GM Retiree Christmas lunch when we spoke nonstop and laughed about many subjects, she was a wonderful conversationalist. We send our sincere condolences to Jim and family
To our good friend Jim

My deepest condolences on Jackies passing! Jackie abd I met when we were in training fir Air Canada. Another joined us Gerry Gogarty and the three if us became inseparable. We were called the three musketeers! We had a lot if fun with it! Jackie had a kind soul and was always so encouraging. They are memories embedded in my heart! We carried on our friendship at our first base and on flights. I will miss her always!
Im sorry Jim, Lynne and all the family. Jackie will always hold a very special place in my heart. We first met in hospital in 1992. I was young and scared about how I would carry on with my situation. Jackie was a bright light and gave me all the words of encouragement that I needed. She gave me the motivation I needed that if Jackie can do it then so can I!! I will never forget that moment and how it put a whole new perspective on the cards that had been dealt.
I too hope you are now dancing with the angels Jackie and free from all pain.
Big hugs to the family.
So very sorry to hear of Jackie’s passing. My deepest condolences to Jim & family. I remember flying with Jackie out of Winnipeg. She was such a classy & compassionate lady & she was missed when she couldn’t fly anymore. Rest In Peace, Jackie
It was devastating to hear of Jackie’s passing. She was always so brave and upbeat. We had hoped she would be able to conquer this last setback.
We got to know Jackie through joining ladies Lake Louise Ski group twenty five years ago. We became close friends in a very short time.
Soon the weekly ski trips expanded to meeting for lunches, celebrating birthdays as well as Christmas get togethers, or any other excuse we could think of to meet.
The conversations were always interesting, stimulating always with a great deal of laughter.
Whatever the circumstances, we were comfortable confiding in each other with all of life’s ups and downs.
We will miss you Jackie. You were a wonderful friend and a key part to our little ski group. We will miss you but our memories will forever keep you in our hearts.
Our sincere sympathy and condolences to Jim and the family.
Much Love

Jackie and Jim were a dedicated and loyal General Motors family at my place of work - Keith GM in Okotoks. It was always a pleasure to see them whether together or alone. Jackie always asked about my family and interests and shared and updated me on her family as well. She will be missed and I will remember her fondly and often. My sincere condolences Jim and family.
Jackie defined gracious; always elegant and exceptionally kind, interested and interesting.
She bore her health challenges with remarkable bravery. She treasured stories of family, especially those of her dear Jim. We will miss her gentle presence in our lives.
