Obituary of Michael Richard Connelly

February 15, 1961 – Lachute, Quebec

November 26, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with deepest sadness and love we mourn the sudden passing of loving a husband and father Michael R. Connelly on November 26, 2023, at the age of 62.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Linda of 38 years and loving daughter Alexa-Rae Sarah Lynn and son Justin Michael William. His beloved mother, Heather Connelly, sister Janet (Merrill), brother Brent (Michelle), sister Kathy (Reid), brother John, sister Christine (Brian), sister Nancy (Steven). Numerous nieces and nephews and his golf buddies, ball buddies and work colleagues.

Michael was predeceased by his father Brent Connelly, grandparents Frances and Delbert MacTavish, Marion and George Connelly, mother and father-in-law Sarah and William Lamb.

Michael was a loving, caring, giving, steadfast, happy, and easy-going person loved and respected by all who knew him.

His love for life was contagious to everyone. His greatest loves were his family and sports, especially hockey and golf. He was a lifelong fan of his beloved Montreal Canadiens, Dallas Cowboys, and the USC Trojans College Football.

He loved 70’s music, camping, holidays especially Christmas and watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation on Christmas Eve. He was our own Clark Griswold.
