Obituary of Laura Lee Elizabeth Neville

 

November 1, 1951 – Moosomin, Saskatchewan

November 29, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

 

Laura Lee Neville (nee Moran), the beloved wife of Graham Neville, Calgary, AB, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the age of 72 years.

 

Lee was born in Moosomin, SK, on November 1, 1951.

She moved with her family including two older brothers and her older sister to Calgary, AB, in the 50’s.

 

Lee met Graham Neville from Australia in the late 60’s and married in 1970.

 

Lee had a passion for bowling, reading, painting, and cooking, but she was happiest surrounded by family.  She was always up for an adventure. She spent hours on the phone talking to friends and family and always had an update on how everyone was doing.

 

Lee enjoyed traveling and was lucky enough to have traveled to most of the places she dreamed about including with family from all over the world.

 

Lee was supported by her many friends, both old and new, they always made time to check in with her.

 

She will be most remembered for her witty sense of humor and infectious laugh, along with her generosity, continuous support, and dedication to family.

 

Besides her loving husband Graham, Lee is survived by her son William and grandson Cole, daughter Wendy, and son-in-law Sam, who all reside in Calgary AB.

 

Lee is survived by her brother Ray and sister-in-law Louise; she was a proud Aunt to Kathryn (Jessie) and Jamie (Johanna) who are currently residing in Vernon and Vancouver BC; brother-in-law Frank and his daughter Tara (Dave) from Kelowna BC. She is also survived by her Australian family and by her sister-in-law Beverley and her husband Digger and their children, Russell (Carrie), Glenn (deceased) wife (Kylie), and Kerry (Gavin).

 

Lee’s family roots started in Saskatchewan, and she has many cousins and friends still living on the prairies.  This includes cousins Phyllis (Don), Roger (Albi), Bob (Audrey), Fay and Marion. 

 

Lee was predeceased by parents Margaret and Keith, brother Allan, sister Shirley, and nephews Glenn and Craig. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Lee’s family here.
