Obituary of Ryan Phillip Meyer

Ryan Meyer beloved husband of Erin Lynn Meyer (nee Marchetto) of Calgary, AB passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 44 years.

Ryan was born on February 4th, 1979, in Murrayville, British Columbia. Ryan later moved to Calgary in 2004. In Calgary, he immersed himself in his passions as an enthusiastic photographer and DJ. In 2005 his love for music led him to working with Kiss Productions, where he worked for 18 years. During that time, he met Erin and their bond flourished, concluding in their marriage in August of 2014.  The Dynamic duo worked many shows and events together, including the Karaoke World Championship as part of the sound production for the last 5 years.  For the past 10 years, Ryan dedicated his professional life to The City of Calgary.  He started with the Roads department and subsequently transitioned to a seasonal laborer before securing a full-time position in the Parks department as a Cemetery Worker.

Ryan is preceded in death by his mother, Diane Meyer. He is survived by his father, Henry Meyer, older brother Craig Meyer, his beautiful wife Erin Meyer, and their two amazing children Nix Eva Aislynn Marchetto (20) and Rory Amora Harmony Meyer (16). He was also a devoted dog father to Klaus Hamilton Houdini Meyer and Sakari Athena Prancer Meyer.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB) on December 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on December 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
