Obituary of Lloyd Mervin Dobson

Lloyd Mervin Dobson, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the age of 69 years.

Lloyd lived in various towns and cities in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia before coming to Calgary in 2015.

Lloyd has a son and daughter from his first marriage to Carol Dobson. His daughter Sheri Kehoe (nee Dobson), her husband Troy and their two children, Jackson and Hayden, all who reside in Trenton, ON; his son Stephen Dobson and his wife Heather of Brighton, ON, their son, Matthew and his wife Emily; their daughter, Jenna and her partner, Chris, also of Brighton, ON; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Lloyd is survived by his common-law wife of 30 years, Norma-Jean Swackhammer, his older brother Glenn Dobson, his younger brother Ross Dobson, and his brother-in-law Casey Hooymans.

Lloyd is predeceased by our parents Mervin and Erma Dobson; and our older sister Shirley Hooymans (nee Dobson).
