Obituary of Ameria Kadre Holloway
“Eagle Woman”
January 15, 1973 - December 11, 2023
On December 11, 2023, Ameria “Sheena” Holloway finished passing through this world, which is not our home, to be at another place where Jesus went to prepare for her. A place where there will be no more sickness, no more sorrow, no more tears to dim her eyes.
Ameria attended Morley, Springbank, and Doctor Collett schools. She loved horseback riding, saddle or no saddle, she would get on. Ameria made beautiful beadwork and taught her loved ones how to bead. At a young age, she learned how to make dry meat, picked berries, and wild spinach. Ameria enjoyed playing baseball and loved to go swimming. She was a genius at playing Scrabble and cards. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends; she would do anything for them.
Ameria leaves to mourn her son Desi Holloway; her mother Maxine Holloway; her sister Giselle Holloway; her brother Andrew Pooreagle; her grandpa Horace Holloway; her uncles, Martin (Vera) Rider, Glen Goodstoney, Perry (Leanne) Goodstoney; her aunts, Carol Crawler, Jeanetlin Holloway, Irene Baptiste, Caroline Holloway, Lowerania (Clint) Holloway, Cecilia Goodstoney; her adopted brother Martin Waskewich; her best friend Peter M.; special niece Shartina “Kennedy” Holloway; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too many to mention.
We apologize if we have missed anyone.
Ameria was predeceased by her late father Paul Daniels; her brother Desi Courtland Holloway; her sister Joy Genevieve Holloway; her grandmother Tina Holloway Wildman; her aunts, Rhonda Holloway, Ora Baptiste Holloway, Marlene Goodstoney; her uncles, Tony Holloway, Ben and Terry Holloway, Leo Goodstoney; and her paternal grandparents, Paul and Lucy Daniels.
