Obituary of Dana Maria Fodor

Dana Fodor beloved wife of Florin Fodor of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the age of 45 years.
Dana and her husband, Florin, immigrated to Canada from Romania in 2010, hoping that her university degree and Florin’s construction trade would help them start a new life.
She was an active member of the St. Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church, participating and volunteering in all activities. Dana accomplished much throughout her life and was particularly proud of her three children, Andrei, Elena, and Sophia Maria.
Besides her loving husband, Dana is survived by her three children, her mother, Floarea, and her brother, Robert.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Calgary Crematorium, 3219 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, AB, within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Dana’s family here. On December 19th, 2023, between 6:00 pm, and 8:30 pm there will be a public visitation (a wake) at the above location.
