Obituary of Robert Alois Kroschinsky

July 2, 1940 -December 16, 2023

Robert Kroschinsky, beloved husband of Trudy (nee Vanstone), of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the age of 83 years.

Robbie was born July 2, 1940, in Wilkie, SK to Joe and Liz Kroschinsky. He met his wife in 1963 and married in 1964. Together they have three children Trent (Rosie), Shawn (Susan),and Sasha (Harvey).

Robbie was loved by his three grandchildren Jordan (Ervin), Steven, Robin and soon to be great-grandchild, Santiago.

He enjoyed along career as a baker for more than 40 years. After he retired, he continued with his passion for baking. He would often bring pies to his loved ones. When he wasn’t baking, he would be fishing, gardening, and watching all things sports related.

Robbie made friends wherever he went and was always up for candid conversation, a laugh, and a beer.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
