Obituary of Margaret Theresa Rieks

April 17, 1930 - December 17, 2023

Margaret Rieks, beloved wife of Josef Wilhem Rieks, of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 93 years.

Margaret accomplished much through her life, she loved the outdoors, nature, and gardening, with that she loved painting with watercolours of flowers and nature.

She is very proud of the people she is survived by. They include her daughters Silvia, Gudrun, and Monica; her sons-in-law Charles, Stu, and Tom; all her grandchildren, Candace, and husband Matthew, Shannon, Chantel, Tami, Lorne, Jordan, and wife Tenaya, Chrystal, and partner Cal; and her great grandchildren Christa, Harley, Gavin, Cori, and Avery. 

Margaret was predeceased by spouse Josef on July 21, 2016, in Calgary, Alberta.
