Margaret Sophia Alice Beppo of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the age of 85 years.

Margaret was born October 6, 1938, in Cape Town, South Africa, to Leonard and Blanche Collins. Margaret dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Ma and Pa enjoyed their passion for travelling and did this extensively. Ma loved spending time in the kitchen, cooking up a storm with much enthusiasm. She enjoyed and shared her love of cooking with genuine delight. She was approachable and welcoming to all. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Ma and in later years, she could be found sitting in her favorite armchair either knitting or doing crossword puzzles.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband and friend of 65 years, Claude, her son Donovan L Beppo (Marilou), her daughter Jennifer A. Stevens (Grant), her grandchildren, Tyler, Erica (Carty), Akiem, Bianca, and Connor; and her siblings, Veronica, Diane, Edward, Sr. Nova, Doreen, Henrietta, and Esmeralda. She was predeceased by her brothers, Patrick Collins and Roy Collins.

Funeral Services were held at St Barnabas Anglican Church (1407 7 Ave NW, Calgary, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
