Obituary of Barbara Lee Lindsay

Barbara Lindsay (nee Redsky), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the age of 58 years.

Barbara was born in Toronto, ON, on July 13, 1965. Barbara moved to Calgary, AB, as a child with her parents and siblings in 1972. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren making crafts, knitting, crocheting, baking, camping and being outdoors. She also enjoyed wine with friends. She loved sports and always cheered for the local professional team. She especially loved the Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders, BC Lions and Vancouver Canucks.

Barbara is survived by her four siblings, twin sister Arlene Lynne Brown (nee Redsky) of Irricana, AB, Jesse Norman Redsky of Vernon, BC, her half-brother Mark Redsky (Julie) of Princeton, BC, and half-sister Suzanne Winters of Toronto, ON; her three sons, Robert Lee Lindsay (Misty) of Strathmore, AB, Cory Alexander Lindsay of Strathmore, AB, and Christopher Allen Lindsay of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Ryan, Danica, Jessica, Emily, Rayna, Lily, and Alyssa; and several nieces and nephews across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Edward Redsky and Gwen Neilsen, and her sister Sandra Redsky.
