Obituary of Laurance Bernard Daignault

Laurance Daignault beloved husband of the late Dorothy Daignault passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 24, 2023.

Laurance will be lovingly missed by his children, Sharyl (Keith) Major and Darryl (Cath) Daignault; and grandsons, James (Lauren), Cale (Kat), Cameron and Patrick. Laurance will be loved and remembered by his youngest brother Jacques (Heather) Daignault as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will also be missed by his dear friend Dianne and all the other special friends whose lives he touched. 

Laurance made family his priority, yet he made sure to make time for the many friends he made through his professional and volunteer activities and his time spent at Turner Valley Golf Course. He was actively involved with the St. Gerard’s Church community and the Knights of Columbus.  

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to a charity of your choice.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
