Condolences
I am so very sad this world lost a beautiful and spunky soul. Marissa was so loving, kind hearted, and had an incredible sense of quick wit humour. She always spoke of how lucky she was to have such an amazing and loving family.
My heart goes out to everyone who is grieving this incredible loss.
Eleanor and Harry,
I am so terribly sorry to hear of Marissa’s passing. I’m praying you will experience the love and comfort of our Saviour in unimaginable ways as you mourn the loss of your precious daughter.
Lynn Parkin
Hope you feel surrounded by so much love during this time. You are all in my prayers.
Dionne Simmonds
My name is Makaela Smith.
I was fortunate enough to call Marissa my friend.
We spent lots of time together at racs.
The endless laughs, watching awful television, eating way too much (Marissa loved her gluten free brownies) and talking of our dreams in recovery. Marissa told me she wanted to be an electrician.
I never had the privilege of meeting her family but I was able to see you all at her memorial today and I just revisited in my mind all the lovely things she had said.. especially the things she said about her mom and dad. I know in my heart that if love was enough Marissa would still be here. She loved her family so much. I will miss her dearly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. Marissa was an amazing person. She was always there to help when you needed it or just someone to talk to.
“Sending healing prayers and comfort during this tough time.” Much love Cheryl Armstead
