Obituary of June Gemeroy
June 11, 1946 - Calgary, Alberta
January 31, 2024 - Calgary, Alberta
Our beautiful June Winnifred Gemeroy (nee Anderson) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the age of 77 years, surrounded by her family.
We celebrate her as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by her husband, golf-partner, hot-rod copilot, travel companion, and partner-in-life of 53 years, Cliff Gemeroy; her children, Doug Gemeroy, and Brandy Husted, and their families, Samantha, Archer, and Elliott Gemeroy, and Kim, Bennett, and Kaden Husted. They will all miss their loving mom and grandma more than words can say.
She is also survived by her younger brother, William Anderson and his wife, Joyce Hutchinson. June truly treasured her ‘Sisters of the Heart’, Karen, Linda, Chris, and Marlene, and so many other friends that enriched her life with fun, adventure, and laughter.
She will be remembered with gratitude for all she brought to our lives. We lost her too quickly and much too soon.
We celebrate her great sense of humor, her joy of music and reading, her love of travel, her beautiful golf swing, her support and sage advice, her ruthless card skills, her wholehearted laugh, her generous hugs, her strength, and kindness, and so much more. She took such good care of us all, loved us fiercely, encouraged our dreams, and brought so much joy.
June wanted us to pass on this heartfelt message:
I Love You All!
Remember, Family is the Most Important.
and
Take Care of Each Other.
Love June
