Obituary of Shirley May Wade

Shirley Wade, cherished wife of Gerald (Gerry) Wade, of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the age of 86 years.

Shirley was born in St. Paul, AB, on May 17, 1937, and married the love of her life, Gerry, in 1963. Shirley devoted her life to her family, nurturing and inspiring those around her. She will be most remembered for her kind presence and bright smile.

Shirley is survived by her two daughters and two sons-in-law, Lisa (Eric) Svedlund and Michele (Steven) Gamble; and one treasured grandson, Scott Svedlund, all of Calgary, Alberta.

Mom, you will be missed every day and are always in our hearts.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Peter Lougheed Centre. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
