I have found memories of our lives together ,when Anka first came to join Sostar family in Jakovci.She was a happy young woman that was my aunt,but I always called her Anka,there were only 3 years difference in our age.Also early days when Anka and Janko came to Canada to join Janko’s brother ( my father and family).Getting together when they lived on first avenue with my parents,to watch Tree Stuges.We didn’t need to understand English,watching the pictures was enough,to make us laugh.We moved to Vancouver Island,but enjoyed visiting with Janko and Anka when we came to Calgary.I am very sad that I will not be able to see her again.To my uncle Janko I extended my deepest condolences,as well to Anka’s children Sandy and Johny,and their family’s.Anka,may God grant you piece everlasting.Počivaj u Miru.

Povodom gubitka drage nam rođakinje Anke, njenoj obitelji iskrenu sućut iz Vukove Gorice, Hrvatske, upućuje obitelj pokojne Dokman Barke. Anku smo upoznali jednom prilikom kada nas je posjetila u Hrvatskoj i Iskreno žalimo zbog njenog gubitka kao i gubitka njenog pokojnog brata Nikole Šubašića. Pokojne Anku i Nikolu cijeli život krasile su dobrota i poštenje, kao i njihovog pokojnog oca Franju Šubašića. Mojoj mami je na vjenčani dar ujak Franjo napravio i poklonio drvene, posebno lagane načve koje su se tada koristile za pranje rublja, a za koje joj je ujak Franjo rekao "dite ove načve bit će ti lagane za nosit" i to je moja mama cijenila i ponavljala cijeli svoj život. Neizmjerno ga je voljela i posjećivala njegov grob u Prilišću, što i moj muž i ja činimo još uvijek sa velikim poštovanjem. Vesna Rašić, ex. DOKMAN
