Obituary of Owen Thomas Hopfner

Owen Hopfner, formerly of Lake Lenore, Humboldt, and Swift Current, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 73 years.

A Celebration of Owen’s Life will be held in his honour at the Humboldt Uniplex Meeting Centre (619 - 17 St, Humboldt, SK S0K 2A0) on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (This would have been his 74th birthday). This is a drop in style event, with some messages shared throughout beginning approximately at 3:30 p.m. We welcome those who wish to share stories at the podium about Owen around that time as well.
