Barbara was the solid foundation of our service at Fish Creek library. I valued her wisdom, experience and her great sense of humor. Harold also a mainstay at Fish Creek often popping in for a chat and a joke. Miss them both. Susan Beatty

I loved working with your mum - and she and your dad were so great together and part of our "Fish Creek Family". We all shared many laughs and hilarious parties. They left such a huge, lasting impression on their friends, and made a huge contribution to our lives - and "planted" a dynasty in Calgary. You are very fortunate to have this legacy, sad as it must be right now.

I was lucky enough to work with your mom at Fish Creek library in the late 80s and 90s. She was a wonderful co-worker and a friend to all of us “youngsters” who had so much to learn from her. Sending heartfelt condolences to all of her family who she talked about so much and was so proud of.
