Condolences
He chose a harder road than most, but some things never wavered - his love for skiing, Montana, The Rolling Stones and my brother and I. Rest in peace Dad.
As we say good bye to our Dad, I thank him for sharing his love for skiing, motorsport and music with me. He taught me to work hard and enjoy the fruits of my labour. He grew a successful oilfield business in smalltown Alberta, volunteered on the local fire department, and supported CKUA radio. He is loved and will be missed. Jeff.
Gord, my lifelong friend, had a great and ready wit which made travel and skiing with him so enjoyable. The memories abound of winding roads, race tracks and snowy peaks. He was very well read and sometimes not so gentle in the sharing of his knowledge.
I will think of him and miss him a lot.
Condolences to Jeff and Lindsay and their families
Gord loved skiing, motorcycles and fast cars from a young age. He was a dear brother and brother-in-law and, though our military life usually took us far from Alberta, we always enjoyed our regular phone calls and less frequent visits. I'm glad we had the opportunity for a couple of good visits in 2023. We will miss him. Thinking of Jeff and Lindsay and their families, Betty Anne and John
