Obituary of Patricia Elder

Patricia Elder, beloved wife of Dennis Elder, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Patricia was born on September 5, 1948, in Calgary, AB, where she married Dennis in 1968. Patricia enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved teddy bears, dogs, and horses. She was also an avid John Wayne fan and enjoyed his films many times. Patricia accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of the birth of her two sons and three grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband of 55 and a half years, Patricia is survived by her two sons, Phil and Mike, both of Calgary, AB; three grandchildren, Tyler, Natasha and Thomas; her two sisters, Judy and Cheryl, both of Calgary, AB; her pet Tumbles, and her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Patricia was predeceased by her mother and father, Della and Donald, her brother Tim, and her beloved dogs from years past.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Peter Lougheed Hospital for their kindness and support.

A Gathering will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
