Obituary of Linda Faye Stead

 

March 2, 1959 – Lethbridge, Alberta

January 21, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Linda Stead (formerly Linda Miller), classical homeopath, passed peacefully at the age of 64 years after a battle with head and neck cancer. She treated and educated thousands through Xerion Homoeopathie and the Western College of Homeopathic Medicine. Also, an accomplished soprano best known for her operatic role in Scorsese’s The Age of Innocence (as Linda Faye Farkas). Survived by daughters Erin Kala Lindley and Vanessa Farkas-Brahmakshatriya, granddaughters Ariadne and Aurora, mother Faye Stead, and sisters Sharon Goodman, Patricia Stead, and Janet Boomer and their families. She is remembered gratefully by numerous friends, students, clients, and colleagues.
