Beverley Kwasnicki (nee Monteith), beloved wife of Leonard Kwasnicki, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the age of 85 years.

Bev was born in Calgary, AB, to Charles and Olive (Gertrude) Monteith. She married Len on July 19, 1958, and they soon became parents to Greg, then Lee-Anne, and later, Dean. They were happily married for 65 years.

Bev loved flowers and plants, baking, movies, cards, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be most remembered for her caring personality, generosity, sweet smile, and most of all, her unconditional love for her family. Over the years Bev gifted her time and resources to many causes that were close to her heart.  

Bev is survived by her loving husband Len, son Greg (Diane) Kwasnicki, daughter Lee-Anne (Rick) Thornton, Pam (Ivan Ivicevic) Kwasnicki, grandchildren, Reid, Blake, Brandon (Lori), Shannon (Rob), Abby, Laine, and Dylan; great-grandsons, Elijah and Sammy; Fay Clark, her best friend for over 65 years, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bev was predeceased by her son, Dean Kwasnicki, sister, Maxine Cummings, and her parents.

Funeral Mass for Len and Bev will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
