Obituary of Marjorie Jean Tetz

October 8, 1937 – Westville, Nova Scotia

January 19, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Marjorie Tetz (nee Fraser), beloved wife of James "Jim" Tetz, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the age of 86 years. She was born in Westville, NS on October 8, 1937. She graduated from St. Martha’s Hospital School of Nursing Assistants, where she worked before heading west to Marry Jonas Forwald, the father of her children.

Besides her loving husband, Marjorie leaves to mourn her Fornwald children, Kevin (Jane Jochmann – predeceased), and their children, Eric and Ryan of Kelowna, BC; Dale (Jodi Hudson) and their sons, Tyler and Connor of Calgary, AB; her estranged daughter, Patricia, and her husband Matt. Her son Allen, and his children, Levi, Joelle, and Kaite of Calgary, AB; stepchildren, Jaime (Brenda) Tetz, Bryan (Christine) Tetz and their children, Sydney and Logan of Petawawa, ON. She is also survived by her sisters, Shirley (George) Manos and Heather (Gary) Collens; and her brother Ross (Loretta – predeceased) and James (Linda). She was predeceased by her sisters, Isabel (Owen), and Barbara (Michael) McKennas.

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
