My condolences to Joe's family. He will be missed by many. He was a strong, dynamic person who threw himself into everything with a passion. He was always giving to others, especially his time and efforts. I am recalling so many memories of him now, sharing discoveries in our gardens and working together at many Vipassana courses.

I was so sad to hear of Joe's passing. I have fond memories of working with Joe at various Vipassana retreats, back in the day when we set them up at rented facilities, Camp Cadicasu and then Camp Kasota. I can attest to that wry sense of humour. My condolences to all family and friends.
