With heavy hearts, the Roussy family announces the passing of Cindy Lynne Roussy, of Calgary, AB, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the age of 40 years.

A loving and caring mother, her absence will be felt by her husband Jean Roussy, and her daughters, Aura Lynne Roussy and Phoenix Louise Roussy.

Born and raised in Alberta, Cindy fought a courageous lifelong battle against neurofibromatosis type 2. Through her unwavering strength, she embraced a quieter existence, transitioning from the impulsiveness of her youth to a serene and reflective lifestyle.

In her later years, Cindy found solace in sobriety and reveled in the joys of motherhood. Whether immersed in the pages of a book, sharing moments with her family and friends, or indulging in the occasional manicure, she found contentment in life’s simple pleasures.

Cindy's warm presence touched the lives of many, and her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she departs this world, her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those she leaves behind.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Heritage, 1708, 16th Avenue N, across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary, AB) on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
