Obituary of Pirjo Helena Paussu

Pirjo Paussu, of Calgary, AB, passed from this life into her eternal life on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the age of 73 years.

Pirjo was born in Finland on July 20, 1950. She immigrated to Canada in 1978. She went on to accomplish much throughout her life and never shied away from learning a new skill or craft.

Pirjo enjoyed knitting, crocheting, spending time in nature, and travelling to the Okanagan area in BC. As a born-again Christian, she was always willing to share the Gospel message with others.

She will be most remembered for her strong faith, her kind and generous heart for anyone in need, and her sense of humor and love of jokes.

Pirjo is survived by her daughter, Marianne Paussu, of New Westminster, BC, and her son, Mika Pentti, of Ikaalinen, Finland. She is also survived by her brother, Kari Inkinen, and sister, Irja Inkinen, of Ikaalinen, Finland, as well as numerous cousins and friends. Pirjo was predeceased by her parents, Pentti and Kirsti Inkinen; and her brother, Matti Inkinen.
