Ray-The countless fishing trips we went on and the fun we had hiking, playing poker, dipping in mountain cold water, cutting firewood, drinking and oh right-fishing! No one could have asked for a better friend. You kept us on time and fed us great meals. May you catch the trout of your dreams and thankfully be free to enjoy the heavens as we know you are there! Ray was the kindest, most authentic and fun person that I have ever known. He leaves behind a loved family, many, many friends, and a void; he wlll forever be missed. I believe that Ray was a deeply religious man and that he will continue to tale care of us. My deepest condolences. A life well lived.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all of Ray’s family. I worked with Ray at Customs & Excise many years ago and remember his with fondness. He was a kind and thoughtful person with a quick wit and great sense of humor. A hard worker, not an unkind word about others and always a pleasure to talk to. No doubt you will miss him terribly but the memories you made will see you through the coming months.

Linda and family, this broke my heart....my deepest sympathies ...Ray will always have a special place in my heart, he was our brother, not by birth but by love....so many great memories with you and Linda at the fruit stand, on my deck......you always came and helped me cook no matter what I was doing at the stand....You are with Mom, Dad and Kenny now.....Till we meet again.....I love and miss you so....Sonia

I worked with Ray for many years. I also curled in the CUSREC league with him, camped at many of the Customs camping weekends and after our Retirements shared laughs, meat draw and lottery tickets and of course beers at the Legion.
