Obituary of Brian Paul Rosmus

Brian Rosmus of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 70 years.
Brian was born in Kenora, ON on January 18, 1954. He attended George Brown college to become a pipefitter and millwright. After 25 years, he retired from Algoma Steel. He was an avid golfer, skier, and animal lover who spent a lot of time volunteering for animal rescue charities. He loved to travel, explore, and meet new people. Brian was a family-oriented man and a devoted caregiver for each of his parents before they passed. He will be most remembered for his giving nature, love of animals, and care for his family.
Brian is survived by his brothers, Joe of Vancouver, WA, and Hugh (Lynda) of Calgary, AB; numerous proud nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his loyal companion Ellie, a black lab mix. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecelia, and Leonard Rosmus.
The family would like to express their gratitude and send a special thank you to the staff at Chinook Intercare Hospice for their care and compassion.
