Obituary of Linda Jean Chappell

Linda Chappell (nee Olsen) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 74 years.

Linda was born in Cabri, SK, on May 9, 1949. Early in her life, Linda moved to Saskatoon, SK, to attend college. After graduation, she then spent two years living in New Zealand before moving to Calgary, AB, where she married Tim Chappell and raised and cared for her family.

Linda worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for her family-run business, Canfield Auto Electric, for twenty-one years.

Linda accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of being a mom and a grandma. Linda enjoyed being surrounded by family, crocheting, knitting, and was a great cook.

Linda is survived by her daughter Shauna, son Ryan (Shelby), and grandchildren, Travis and Caitlyn of Calgary, AB. Linda is also survived by her brother Carmen (Faye) Olsen, of Swift Current, SK, as well as brother-in-law Ivor, sister-in-law Donna, sister-in-law Terri, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Marion and John Olsen, brothers, Jack, Floyd, and Knute; and sister Laura.
