Obituary of Duey William Lacombe

Duey Lacombe was born in Calgary, AB, on October 25, 1955. He was the beloved husband of Hillary Lacombe (nee Hissett). Duey passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 68 years.

Duey will be remembered and cherished as our hero. He was such a ray of light to so many people; friends, family, and just random people that he crossed paths with. He was a big guy, with an even BIGGER spirit that filled every room he was in. His special chuckle was such a gift and will ring in our ears forever. His sense of humour, his laugh, his soft heart, and even his sometimes-crass way of "putting it to you straight", will all be dearly missed. There are no words that can sum you up, you were a special one, with your own unique way. Your love, your loyalty, your guidance, and your companionship are very tough losses to manage, but we are grateful that we had them. You lived life to the fullest and filled all our hearts while you lived it. We love you, always will, may you fill heaven with that chuckle and watch over us from above. Love ya, big guy. 

Besides his loving wife, Duey is survived by his two loving daughters, Tori and Niki; his son Jesse, and his grandchildren, Blakely and Leia Lacombe. Duey is also survived by his sisters Jeanette and Alberta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
