I just found out this very day that Darlenr had passed. We grew up together in Veteran, and I was a bridesmaid at her wedding. We have kept in touch over the years, but I did not know she was ill. So, so sorry to hear this. My condolences to Shauna, Brett and families as well as her brother Don and family and sister in law Sheila Homan. May she Rest In Peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Darlene’s passing. She was more like my big sister than my aunt and I have loved her all my life. She definitely loved being a mom and then a devoted grandma. There are just too many memories of her that I don’t even know where to start. She used to stop by our house when we were little and share some of her favourite new rock and roll songs with us. I adored her and loved how she took care of me at school. I miss you now, Darlene, and I’ll miss you the rest of my life. Rest in Peace with grandma and grandpa, Aunt Margaret, Ann, and Uncle David.
