Heather Maureen Spielman (nee Jewell), beloved wife of 40 years to Gord Spielman, passed away peacefully at the age of 64 years.

A lifelong resident of her hometown, Calgary, AB, Heather had a passion for travelling, reading, and celebrating events/holidays with family and friends. Heather's greatest achievements were her children and grandchildren. She cherished spending time with them and creating memories.

Heather will forever be remembered for her love of travel, especially Hawaii, where she and Gord had many memorable vacations. She will also be remembered for her infectious smile, her kind heart, and her devotion to her family.

Heather is survived by her loving husband Gord, two sons, Nick (Kirsten), and Chris (Katie); granddaughter Olivia, father Vern (Esther), brother Kevin (Yvonne), and sisters, Shannon, Sue (Gary), and Cori (Ray). She was predeceased by her mother Sadie Jewell.
 

Heather's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all their relatives and friends for their support and love during this difficult time. They would also like to thank the staff at Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Urban Palliative Home Care, and Chinook Hospice for their compassion and care.
 

Heather's memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
