Amanda Johnston-Ball, born on April 16, 1979, in Calgary, AB, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, after bravely battling numerous illnesses. She was a beacon of strength and resilience throughout her life.

Amanda was the cherished daughter of Jean and Bill Ball, and granddaughter of Marion Brack. She leaves behind a loving family - her brothers Dave (Rochelle) and Jason (Cynthia); her nephews Emmett and Reed; her dear friend and mother figure Cindy (Mama Two), along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and furbabies, who were deeply touched by her presence.

Amanda had a profound love for nature, finding solace and inspiration in its beauty. She was a protector of all she held dear and had a special bond with her beloved cat, Shadow. Amanda's passion for art, poetry, and wildlife was evident in her every breath. She embraced the interplay of dark and light in life, finding meaning in both.
