Joan Blanchard (nee Zuk) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, just short of her 94^th birthday.

Joan leaves behind her sons, David (Bing) and Peter (Veronica); grandchildren, Michael, Sherry, Sarah (Tim), and Ryan (Christina); as well as her brother William (Susan). She was predeceased by her husband Nick, her parents, Mike and Jesse Zuk; and her brother Byron.

Her greatest joy was spending time and spoiling her grandchildren and spending numerous summers at Grand Marias with the Central Avenue gang.

As per Joan’s request, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice or have a glass of wine in her memory.
