Obituary of Kevin Barry Gray

December 15, 1957 – Toronto, Ontario

February 23, 2024 – Cochrane, Alberta

It is with immense sadness that we announce that Kevin Gray, beloved husband of Margaret Gray, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 23, 2024, in Cochrane, AB at the age of 66.

Kevin was born in Toronto, ON, on December 15, 1957. He married Margaret in 1990, enjoying 34 years of marriage together. In 1993 and 1994, he welcomed his two daughters. He moved to Barrie, ON, in 2001 where he resided for 22 years. Kevin worked for AMJ Campbell for 23 years, where he flourished as a salesperson, winning a multitude of awards over his long tenure.

Kevin had many passions in his life. He was an avid sports fan who had a particular fondness for the Toronto Blue Jays, the Buffalo Bills, and the San Francisco 49ers. He was an adventurous soul who loved travelling and experiencing the world around him with Margaret. He loved music and attended many concerts in his youth and throughout his adult life. He was a social butterfly who had a special way of connecting with everyone he met and was happiest to be surrounded by the company of others.

Besides his loving wife Margaret, Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Natasha and Nicole; his brother John Gray, and sisters, Cathy Hadlow, Marie Baker, Joan Brouillard, and Jess Olsen, and their spouses; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He will be most remembered for his kind heart, outgoing personality, and willingness to always help others. He was a devoted father and husband, and his passing has left a hole in our lives that we will never be able to fill.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON), on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON), on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
