Obituary of Andrew Tran 陳有安

Andrew Tran, beloved husband of the late Tu Anh Joanne Tran, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the age of 95 years.

Andrew was born in Binh Khe, Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh, Vietnam, on June 21, 1928.

Andrew married Joanne in October 1956. He moved to Lacombe, AB, in October 1979, and built a life for his family through years of dedication and hard work. His efforts and love were felt by his entire family and will never be forgotten.

Andrew is survived by his two daughters, Gwen and Heather; son-in-law Quinton in Calgary, AB, five sons, Hugh, Ninh, Wayne, John, and Michael; four daughters-in-law, Jenny, Sheila, Phan, and Chuan Zhi in Calgary and Toronto; sixteen grandchildren, Henry, Yianne, Ronald, Kevin, Jason, Dennis, Phillip, Tracy, Shana, Carina, Nathan, Matthew, Alex, Matilda, Ada, and Mila in Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto; and two great-grandchildren, Silas and Sadie, in Calgary.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
