Before moving to Calgary, she was born and raised in the Drumheller area (Nacmine/Entwistle), where she and her sister Jean studied piano and were part of a performing group that entertained at various events.

Rosemary was an avid dance enthusiast and in her younger years taught ballroom dancing for Delmar Dance Studios. In the early days of the Allan Cozzubbo Academy of Dance, she designed costumes for the dance numbers, which ultimately helped lead to the success of the Academy. Prior to working at Delmar, she was employed doing clerical work for Paramount Studios and FINA Oil. She became an enthusiastic viewer of Dancing with the Stars and enjoyed bantering back and forth regarding the episodes.

Among her many talents, she was very passionate about her love of art. She was fortunate enough to prepare and transfer a mural on the cafeteria wall of her high school, Crescent Heights, in Calgary. Rosemary was a remarkable artist, working with pastels and watercolors.

Rosemary was very fond of her household pets and at one time had as many as six feline fur babies. She also had enormous love for her dogs. she was fortunate to have them in her life.

Her family expresses gratitude for the efforts and compassionate care given to Rosemary by the nursing home staff at Cambridge Manor.
