Obituary of Wade Albert Plachner

Wade Plachner, beloved husband of Beverly (nee Welzbacher), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

Wade was born in Edmonton, AB, on January 6, 1952, and graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Geology. He had a continuous passion for constant learning and exploration.

Wade is survived by his beloved wife Beverly and children, Sandra (Louis) Bruneau, and James Sherman (Rose-Marie), as well as their children and grandchildren, and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Jessie Graham, and his father Albert Plachner.

As per Wade's wishes, no formal service will be held.
