We are saddened with Uncle Donnie's passing. He always held a special place in our hearts. Uncle Donnie always had a big smile and a funny story about his many adventures growing up and during his travels. He would have you laughing with him another stories never got old. We will miss you. Dearest Don,

I met you the day I took possession of my unit directly across the green space from yours. From that day forward you played a significant role in my role life, and I’ve been blessed to call you my friend from that moment.

I will miss our visits in the garden, watching hockey together, and you teaching me the game of baseball. Your stories and tales, from near and far, always brought a smile to my face and laughter to lips.

The world was a better place because you were in it. I will miss you deeply my friend and you’ll always hold a place in my heart.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Donnie’s passing. I have so many memories of the funny, story telling times as a child and adult. My boys still talk about going to the acreage in Calgary for the weekend. Sleigh rides and picking their eggs for the “cowboy” breakfast. We will miss you, but cherish our memories.
