Obituary of Keely Brianne McConville
August 22, 1989 – Calgary, Alberta
March 9, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
With heavy hearts, we share the news of our beloved Keely's passing.
Unable to work due to health issues, she instead volunteered. The Alex was her second home; you would always find her with a warm smile welcoming visitors and volunteers alike, helping, and inspiring many. She was to begin her new role as a Peer Advocate, something she already embodied, having even been recognized by the city with a community leadership award. However, her involvement didn't end there. Additionally, for example, she loved volunteering her time talking to students at SEED School.
Keely excelled at art and was an avid animal lover. She had many pets over the years, which included her dog Koko, and cats, Max, Ayla, and Sokka. Predeceased by her father Lawrence, she leaves behind her mother Kimberly, sisters, Ashley and Georgia; brother Kevin, niece Jacklyn, and cat Piper.
She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Celebration of Keely’s Life will be held at East City Church (1320 Abbeydale Dr SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
