Condolences
I first met Lloyd when working at the Amoco Calgary office. He was a great person, always had time to smile and chat. Also enjoyed meeting with him at the Pierce Fish Hatchery. Lloyd was a great volunteer and good friend that will be missed.
My thoughts are with Dawn and family. I got to know Lloyd I think was 2013 or 14 I have gotten to volunteer and serve on the board Lloyd will be greatly missed but I cherish his friendship and great chats
My friendship with Lloyd started in the mid sixties in Drayton Valley with Pan American. The years went by with Amoco and we both retired. We began golfing at Fox Hollow were we started in a foursome that played every Monday at 7am. Lloyd was usually a stroke or two ahead of me when we finished. We spent an hour drinking coffee retalking about the game. That was fun.
We'll miss Lloyd.
I was involved with Lloyd at the Interpretive Wetland in Pearce Estate Park starting in 1999 and ending in around 2016. His contribution to that project will be remembered always.
Sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. I worked with Lloyd for a number of years at Amoco and with the BP Alumni. His involvement with a number of organizations was greatly appreciated - Dennis Gidley
