Pauline Riise (nee Saville), beloved wife of Al Riise, of Calgary, AB, passed away at Bethany Care Centre of dementia on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 84 years.
Pauline was born in Toronto, ON, in 1939. Throughout her life, she shared profound love and companionship with her dear husband, Al. Their journey together began in Port Credit, ON, where they exchanged vows and embarked on a life of shared dreams and enduring devotion. In 1968, they made their home in Calgary, AB, where they both contributed their professional talents to AGT, now Telus.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband Al, her brother-in-law Arnie Riise (Shirley) of Saskatoon, SK, niece Heather Hunder (Brock, Everly, and Myles) of Calgary, AB, and niece, Janis Riise of Nanaimo, BC. She is also survived by cousins, Joy and Dennis Stewart and family, David and Irene Weiseth and family, Conrad and Evelyn Riise and family, Janet Barkley and family, Nelson Riise and family, Cindy and Cecil Yost, Elsie Monahan, and Laura; as well as cousins Gail, Paul, Barbara, and Linda from Ontario.
Pauline’s family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to join them for the sharing of memories, stories, tributes, and refreshments at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Arnie Riise to preside.
