Jeanette Walrod (nee Ryan), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the age of 87 years.

Jeanette loved art and animals. She was an excellent painter and had many dogs over the years. She was especially passionate about Shelties. She was also a champion shopper, logging hours upon hours at the mall and London Drugs. She was always fashionable and well-dressed.

Jeanette is survived by her sisters, Marion and Patsy; her sons, Cal (Bev) and Dwayne; daughter-in-law Ilona, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her longtime partner Peter Brammah, and her son Darrell Walrod.

A Celebration of Jeanette’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at Marion Kelcher's residence; location details to be announced at the service.
