Obituary of Lena Chapman

We, the family, are very sad to announce the passing of a wonderful and beautiful soul, Lena Chapman (nee Ewasiuk), of Calgary, AB, who passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 89 years. Lena was born in Vegreville, AB, on August 26, 1934. She was a wife, mother, grandmother baba, great-grandmother baba, and sister. She was surrounded by her family with support and an outpouring of love as she ascended to the heavens.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Richard, son Eric (Rose), daughters Larissa (Geoff), and Tara (Oliver); grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler (Kathleen), Travis, Devin (Brooke), Peyton, Brandon (Lisa), and Justin (Morgan); and great-grandchildren, Skylar, Terran, Taylor, and Kaiden. She was predeceased by her parents John and Rachel Ewasiuk, and sisters Mary and Olga.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Airdrie Cemetery. Reception will follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
