I first met Augusta over 35 years ago while she was working in Marlborough mall as a hairdresser. She had such an inviting, friendly and helpful personality that we hit it off right away. That’s when our long friendship started. We spent many hours together talking while she was doing my hair. I got to know her family and friends, some in person and some through her many stories, some good, some bad, some hilarious and some sad but it was always obvious just how much she loved them. Over time we just got closer and I will really miss my dear friend everyday and my heart and prayers go out to her family as they go through this terrible time. She left an imprint on everyone she ever met and will truly be missed by all. Good-Bye my dear friend and Rest in Peace.

I first had the pleasure of meeting Augusta when I was a young girl in the summer of 1972. I was a summer student working at Victor of Romes hair salon. I will never forget Augusta's kindness towards me that summer. Augusta treated me as if I was her own daughter.

Those memories have remained with me every since.

I am sorry for all of the pain you must all endure during this very sad time. Please take care of each other. The road is going to be long and hard, and together you will take each step on day at a time.
